![]() The Aruba Wireless Grid architecture uses inexpensive APs, called grid points (GPs) to bring down the cost of procuring and installing a WLAN. This allows for a structured model for the WLAN to form a dense wireless grid. The Aruba switch will configure all the GP's for optimum RF coverage modulating the channel, power, and coverage area to ensure seamless coverage for roaming users. The Aruba system is scalable and deployable with its switch and "dumb" access point architecture. The centralized switch manages all the AP's so there is no need to physically go to any of them and your network will remain secure if one of the AP's is lost or stolen. Aruba systems are centrally-configured for a multilayered security approach combining: user identity, computer identity, location security, and temporal security to ensure that wireless transmissions are as secure as possible. Aruba wireless switches can even be combined to work together and manage the entire enterprise's wireless infrastructure in various physical locations. Intrusion detection systems (IDS) for wireless networks are a new challenge for wireless enterprise. Aruba systems are able to detect, classify, and contain rogue access points, bridges, and other threats to your wireless network like no other system. Aruba's wireless IDS was designed from the start because there was nothing else out there. If your firm is interested in deploying a wireless network securely the right way, the first time, or if you're interested in upgrading your existing legacy wireless network, don't hesitate to contact us to discuss an Aruba solution that works for you.
